Daniel Książek prepared the thesis entitled “A Place of Work as a Crucial Element of the Employment Contract”, which was honoured with a distinction in a competition for the best master and doctoral thesis in the field of employment and social policy law, under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy. Daniel Książek is a worker of the Chair of Labour Law and Society Policy at the Jagiellonian University.
Previously, he was a co-worker at the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication at the Jagiellonian University. His achievements include also numerous publications on labour and employment law. A long standing practitioner and expert in employment and labour law. Daniel Książek has a wealth of experience in employment litigation as well as in negotiations with trade unions. In our firm he has been in charge of an on-going legal assistance, in the scope of labour and employment law, to such business entities as: TESCO Poland, IKEA Poland, UNILEVER Poland, PFIZER Poland, DHL Poland and SANOFI-AVENTIS Poland.
Daniel Książek is a personal legal adviser to members of Management Boards, Chief Executive Officers, and Human Resources Directors of the largest employers in Poland. Furthermore, he acts in the capacity of a legal consultant for employers’ organizations and trade unions operating in Poland. He is also a member of Supervisory Boards of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
