Google is planning to revise the salaries so that they will depend on the place of performing work. Remote workers will earn less. The company has started to implement this scenario in the USA. Will it be possible in Poland?
Dziennik Gazeta Prawna asked Attorney Wojciech Bigaj to comment on the possibility of pay discrimination of employees based on whether they work remotely or in the office. Our expert referred to anti-discrimination laws to explain that the fact that work is performed either on-site or in so-called home office cannot be the basis for paying different salaries for office and remote workers.
