In spite of the lack of a statutory definition of remote and hybrid work, many enterprises decided to order their employees to perform work outside the usual place of work. In the January issue of the Personel & Zarządzanie magazine, attorney Wojciech Bigaj and attorney in training Łukasz Łaguna described the OHS-related obligations of employers who order their employees to perform remote work.

In the article, experts from BKB explained the differences between telework and remote work and answered the question whether and to what extent the employer is responsible for an accident of the employee during remote work. Our lawyers also provided numerous practical guidelines that may help to minimise the risk of the employer related to occupational health and safety in remote work. The text presents several practical examples that make it easier to apply and understand binding regulations.
