As a result of Russian military invasion on Ukraine, the Polish Parliament adopted the Act on providing aid to Ukrainian citizens. The new legislation foresees, among others, that the legalisation of residence in Poland and the employment of Ukrainian citizens will be simplified. Puls Biznesu asked dr hab. Daniel Książek to comment on the new regulations.
Our expert referred to the involvement of employment offices in the process of legalising the employment of Ukrainian citizens, simplified application procedures, and the consequences in the event if the citizen of Ukraine leaves Poland. Mr. Książek also pointed to the need to develop the new legislation in the future.
