Coronavirus vaccinations are one of the most widely discussed topics, also in the light of labour law. First news about dismissals of employees who have not been vaccinated is starting to appear.

In the comment for Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, attorney Wojciech Bigaj explained that such practices violate the labour law, as vaccinations against COVID-19 are not compulsory. The expert of our Law Firm also reminded readers that the type of performed work and the possibility of being in contact with coronavirus cannot result in the termination of employment contract, because the issue of the ability (or inability) to perform work in the given position and in specific work conditions is always assessed by the occupational physician.

You can find all arguments presented by attorney Wojciech Bigaj in the article which is available HERE.
