Employers who delegate workers to work in other European Union Member States had certain doubts concerning the insurance obligations.

The interpretational discrepancies in the application of the existing legal regulations concerned whether the employee is subject to the legislation of the state where the registered seat of the employer is located or the state where he currently lives and works. These doubts were eliminated by the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union. The editorial team of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna asked Professor Iwona Sierocka to comment on the judgment.
