Webinar: Quarantine, isolation and working remotely during a pandemic – the major responsibilities of employees and employers

As a result of the pandemic, employers are struggling with issues related to employee quarantine, and logistical changes required for work to be done remotely. Questions frequently arise about sickness benefits and the interpretation of new regulations aimed at minimizing the effects of the coronavirus epidemic. In order to dispel employers’ doubts, we have prepared a free webinar conducted by our experts attorney-at-law Wojciech Bigaj, attorney-at-law Kajetan Bartosiak, trainee attorney-at-law Katarzyna Fiedeń, and Łukasz Łaguna, currently studying for a PhD at the Jagiellonian University. During the meeting, we will discuss the obligations of employers and employees under the applicable regulations, and give practical examples.

We will address the following questions:

  • Can an employee perform their professional duties when self-isolating at home?
  • When is an employee required to submit a quarantine certificate?
  • What is the role of ZUS and Sanepid in quarantine and isolation cases?
  • The webinar will take place on November 19, 2020, from 11am to 12:30pm.

The event is free.
