Although the regulations on the protection of whistleblowers have not yet entered into force in Poland, both public and private entities should implement the correct procedures to ensure compliance with binding regulations and start preparations to implement whistleblowing systems.
In the article that was published in the Rzeczpospolita newspaper, Dr Beata Baran provided a handful of practical guidelines concerning the internal procedures and essential documents that should be created in all organisations that want to manage the risk of non-compliance. Apart from that, the expert from BKB also presented the tasks and goals that were set by the legislator for management governance and explained which entities will be exempt from the duty to implement systems for reporting irregularities.
