Kajetan Bartosiak

He specialises in individual and collective labour law, in particular in issues related to individual employment contracts (from recruitment to termination), the employment of members of governing bodies in equity companies, and in employment proceedings and administrative proceedings connected to employment.

Author of publications on social security during the COVID-19 pandemic and the duties of the employer during a state of epidemic threat.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

He completed a postgraduate studies programme in commercial companies law, and wrote his thesis on “The employment of Members of the Boards of capital companies – selected aspects”.

He has been a Member of the Labour Law Committee at the AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) since 2020. In the years 2016-2018, he was three times a finalist in the Negotiations Tournament for Bar Trainees, organised by the Centre for Economic Mediation at the National Bar Association. In 2018, he was awarded the title of Best Negotiator. He is registered with the Cracow Bar Association.

Experience

He has wide experience in negotiating labour by-laws with trade unions, conducting negotiations with trade unions, supporting entrepreneurs during restructuring processes, and obtaining and regulating funds granted under the Covid shields.

He represents BKB Clients in court proceedings related to labour law and social security, mainly advising companies in the pharmaceutical, financial, and transport sectors, but also temporary employment agencies, nationwide retail chains, or companies in the healthcare sector.

He is responsible for advising companies in international capital groups on labour law.

He has advised on by-laws of the largest companies from the cannabis and pharmaceutical industries.
