Łukasz Łaguna
Bar Trainee. He specialises in cases related to labour law and the law of new technologies. He was one of the youngest lawyers nominated in the competition Rising Stars Lawyers – Leaders of Tomorrow 2022.
In the HR & LegalTech Department, he provides consulting on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems in employment processes, employment through digital platforms, legal issues related to information protection, support in developing Diversity&Inclusion based on safe digital tools, digitisation of employment processes and anti-harassment systems.
He also advises customers in cases concerning the relations with trade unions and provides assistance in court proceedings related to labour law.
A social expert for the regulations on new technologies, with particular focus on cyber-security at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
He conducts classes for students of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. He is an author of articles published in renowned academic journals, such as “Przegląd Sądowy” and press articles on labour law and the job market in the “Rzeczpospolita” and “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” daily newspapers.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Currently he is working on his doctoral dissertation at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences of the Jagiellonian University.
He was awarded the stipend of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and, several times, the stipend of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University for outstanding academic achievements.
He completed the programmes “CS50 for Lawyers” at the Harvard University and “Inequality and Labour Markets” at the Oxford University. Currently, he is an attorney in training at the Regional Council of Attorneys in Krakow.
