Michał Szypniewski, PhD
Doctor of law, labor law specialist,, assistant professor at the Department of Labor Law at the University of Gdańsk. Predominantly advising employers in situations of workplace conflict, Dr Szypniewski is known for providing practical, cost-effective and long-lasting solutions to difficult employment, labour and workplace issues. A valued expert on the issues of posting workers and employing foreigners.
Michał Szypniewski has extensive experience in organizing and conducting training and coaching projects for medium and large enterprises, corporations, for middle and senior managers.. Using skills as an articulate and experienced lecturer, considering interdisciplinary contexts, Dr Szypniewski addresses complex issues in a way that is direct, nuanced and easy to understand which is repeatedly appreciated by the training participants, HR-s, managers as well as other stakeholders. On top of that, Dr Szypniewski, periodically conducts trainings on global mobility and posting of employees, including for global corporations, as well as inspectors of supervisory authorities.
Speaker at many Polish and international conferences on labor law. Author of several dozen scientific and popular science publications, including books published by Wolters Kluwer entitled “Employing foreigners from outside the EU in Poland” and “Safeguarding the interest of a posted worker in the framework of provision of services in the European Union ”.
