A year after the introduction of the first restrictions aimed at minimising the spreading of the coronavirus, the Department of Labour Law and Social Policy of the Jagiellonian University organised a conference to summarise the changes in social life, in particular on the job market.
The conference was opened by prof. Krzysztof Baran. Łukasz Łaguna, a doctoral student of the JU delivered a speech in which he focused on the employer’s obligation to care about the best interest of the workplace in the context of whistleblowing and the COVID-19 pandemic. In his speech, he presented his theses on the potential need to change the understanding of employee loyalty with respect to the implementation of the protection of whistleblowers.
